Subaru XV

Compact, capable and reliable, the XV is the crossover that proves you can conquer mountains and the school run in the same car. Effortlessly stylish, it boasts always-on Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, a Boxer engine and incredible all-round performance.

Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive (SAWD)

Delivers power to all four wheels at all times ensuring enhanced control of XV on or off-road – even in poor conditions. The entire drive system, from the Boxer engine to the rear differential, is mounted in a straight, symmetrical line, delivering XV’s stability and balance.

Subaru AWD

Has a longitudinally-mounted horizontally-opposed configuration. The pistons are placed 180 degrees apart allowing a lower, flatter engine profile. This gives the powerplant – and therefore the whole car- a lower centre of gravity. This more balanced weight distribution gives the XV exceptional handling and poise.

Lineartronic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT)

Moves between a span of gear ratios to provide smooth acceleration while keeping the engine at its optimal rev range. Lineartronic preserves momentum that is often lost during gear changes on a manual or traditional automatic transmission, maintaining traction by continuously providing power to the wheels at all times.

Subaru XV5

SUBARU’s Global Manufacturing Platform (SGP)

Allows XV to benefit from several next-generation design and manufacturing enhancements. SGP creates a chassis with higher rigidity, increased strength, lighter weight, better rolling resistance and responsive steering for an even better driving experience.

X-Mode with Hill Descent Control

Makes climbing and descending steep, extreme terrain in the XV controlled, calm and worry-free. When activated, X-Mode with Hill Descent Control takes command of the engine, transmission, Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, brakes, and other components to provide the best traction and grip in difficult conditions. Hill Descent Control moderates speed and braking for you when going downhill, allowing you to concentrate on steering.

A 220mm ground clearance shuns uneven ground – allowing XV to negotiate rocky, rutted tracks or even ford streams.

Subaru’s advanced driver assist technology, offers XV drivers a second pair of eyes. A high-resolution two camera system detects and interprets the environment, accurately tracking things like vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles and pedestrians. EyeSight comprises six safety systems that, where necessary, provide warnings and collision avoidance assistance as events unfold.

Subaru XV7

Features Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane Change Assist & Rear Cross Traffic Alert. It monitors rear blind spots for danger, makes lane changes safer, and can also warn of the potential for a collision – for instance whilst reversing into a street with passing traffic.

Engaging High Beam Assist (HBA)

Automatically controls the selection of main or dipped beam at night, ensuring the best visibility without dazzling oncoming traffic.

Subaru XV1
